Lahore Real Estate Market Witnesses Significant Rise
Lahore: The real estate market of Pakistan is experiencing significant growth now a days. The last month started with a positive note especially for the market of Lahore and Karachi. Islamabad’s real estate market also did not show decline but progress of Lahore and Karachi was far better.
Lahore is gaining significance in the real estate sector and the housing scheme including DHA’s new phases (VII to IX), LDA Avenue I and Bahria Town turned with substantial output.
Islamabad showed stability in prices while Lahore real estate market performed well in last month and its localities are showing controlled growth trend.
DHA Lahore Phases VII to IX experienced a modest rise of 0.98 percent, Bahria Town also gave positive performance and witnessed rise of 1.07 percent, while LDA Avenue I displayed rise of 2.90 percent in the 1-kanal category and 5.45 percent sharp rise for 10 Marla plots, because construction work on houses is underway in this location. Wapda Town also showed minor rise of 0.43 percent. Overall, Lahore real estate market went with reporting no decline.

DHA to switch to Zong for 4G services
Defence Housing Authority (DHA), Lahore: A good news have approached
for DHA after a business meeting held between officials of DHA and Zong
CEO. Now DHA will have access of latest Zong 4G high speed internet
Services.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed last week to provide the professional services to DHA and make sure provision of the smooth cellular services. Earlier, DHA was using high internet services of another company. Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Zong Niaz A Malik said on the occasion that 4G cellular network in DHA, one of the top housing schemes of Lahore, will help the society to be fitted out with the speedy and most reliable telecom services.
The agreement signed between a DHA official and CEO Niaz A Malik will provide high quality internet services as Zong 4G Services have emerged as the only high speed service across the country. Zong is continuously expanding the scope of its 3G and 4G to sustain the status of most advanced and only 3G & 4G operator of Pakistan. Lahore Realty Market in January 2016
Real estate market witnessed a good start of the year 2016 as in its first month of January, meticulous rise in prices was seen in Lahore’s important locations especially for 1 Kanal Plot. January 2016 was warmly welcomed in Lahore by real estate investors and significant sales and purchases were reported in this month.
According to the statistical report by Zameen.com, a manifest rise in prices was recorded in Bahria Town Lahore, despite of some controversies erupted in the top posh location of Lahore. The price of 1 Kanal plot saw rise in the average price by 3.31%. Bahria Town has become the largest development of Lahore and Pakistan too. The amnesties, infrastructure, attractions and recreations has no match. Moreover, it is considered to be the safest place to live in a time when country is facing terrorism and militancy. The development thus has strong status in the realty business.
1 Kanal plots in DHA Lahore, another sophisticated area to live, portrayed a good precise mounting rise. It goes up by 1.08% in Phases I to IV and 1.03% in Phases VII to IX for 1 Kanal plot, Zameen.com said. The development in the phase IX of DHA has started a month ago. It is predicted that prices in this phase will rise up sharply once the development work is complete. The current prices in developing phases of DHA are deliberately lower that the developed ones. Overall, DHA has a good position in the real estate market and its projects are doing very well. So investors should not miss the chance and must avail the golden opportunity to gain surplus profit by investment.
LDA Avenue I and Wapda Town also performed well and posted a good price rise. The price of 1 Kanal plot registered a 1.04% rise in LDA whereas a vigorous price rise of 2.50% was seen in Wapda Town. A prediction has been made that prices in LDA Avenue I will rise up in the next few months as Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has started providing electricity to some blocks of the development. It can be confidently said that LDA Avenue I will surely perform well if LDA provides electricity to the whole development.
