Lahore Realty Market in January 2016

Real estate market witnessed a good start of the year 2016 as in its first month of January, meticulous rise in prices was seen in Lahore’s important locations especially for 1 Kanal Plot. January 2016 was warmly welcomed in Lahore by real estate investors and significant sales and purchases were reported in this month.

According to the statistical report by Zameen.com, a manifest rise in prices was recorded in Bahria Town Lahore, despite of some controversies erupted in the top posh location of Lahore. The price of 1 Kanal plot saw rise in the average price by 3.31%. Bahria Town has become the largest development of Lahore and Pakistan too. The amnesties, infrastructure, attractions and recreations has no match. Moreover, it is considered to be the safest place to live in a time when country is facing terrorism and militancy. The development thus has strong status in the realty business.

1 Kanal plots in DHA Lahore, another sophisticated area to live, portrayed a good precise mounting rise. It goes up by 1.08% in Phases I to IV and 1.03% in Phases VII to IX for 1 Kanal plot, Zameen.com said. The development in the phase IX of DHA has started a month ago. It is predicted that prices in this phase will rise up sharply once the development work is complete. The current prices in developing phases of DHA are deliberately lower that the developed ones. Overall, DHA has a good position in the real estate market and its projects are doing very well. So investors should not miss the chance and must avail the golden opportunity to gain surplus profit by investment.

LDA Avenue I and Wapda Town also performed well and posted a good price rise. The price of 1 Kanal plot registered a 1.04% rise in LDA whereas a vigorous price rise of 2.50% was seen in Wapda Town. A prediction has been made that prices in LDA Avenue I will rise up in the next few months as Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has started providing electricity to some blocks of the development. It can be confidently said that LDA Avenue I will surely perform well if LDA provides electricity to the whole development.
